Join former Councilmember Courtney Watson for a informative discussion on the opioid crisis which caused 57 deaths in Howard County in 2017. What do you need to know, and how you can be helpful here in our own community?
Joan Webb Scornaienchi from HC DrugFree will tell us about the current state of the crisis in Howard County. Hear from Ellicott City parent Beth Harbinson about her family's experience, and how she plans to start to change our local culture to embrace alternatives for people with addiction who are working to remain sober. There will be time for questions and answers from the audience.
